ABOUT JAMIE

Jamie is a highly experienced motion graphic designer, animator and video/film editor from Edinburgh, Scotland. With a strong family background in graphic design, he has developed a deep expertise in his field. Over the past 17 years, Jamie has built a diverse and accomplished career spanning the film and television industry, advertising, corporate video production, and beyond.

In 2007, Jamie relocated to London to pursue a career in the film, television, and production industry. Starting as a runner at a production company, he quickly progressed to roles as an editor and motion designer. Eventually transitioning to freelance work, Jamie established a strong client base that includes prominent names such as ENVY Post Production, Saatchi & Saatchi, The Conran Design Group, WAG Entertainment, and many others.

Jamie is currently overseeing a personal project which is a feature documentary he wrote produced and directed called ‘The Boxer from Somewhere Else: The Ken Buchanan Story’ due to be released in cinemas in the summer 2025.

Among his notable achievements, Jamie led the motion graphic design for WAG Entertainment’s 40-episode nature documentary series ‘How Do Animals Do That’ produced for Animal Planet in 2019.

He also collaborated with ENVY Post Production on the global launch of the Fitbit Versa smartwatch, where he was responsible for versioning hundreds of commercials using After Effects, including editing theatrical advertisements for cinema.

As a design-led video and film professional, Jamie is driven by a passion for crafting visually compelling stories that resonate emotionally with audiences.
